For the woman who's done guessing.

Whether you feel good and want to keep it that way for decades — or you've been told "everything's fine" and you know it isn't — this is where you stop guessing and start getting answers.

Real testing. Real protocols. A roadmap that's actually yours.

This is your wellness for thriving through midlife and beyond.

Two women. One room. Two ways in.

You feel good -- and you intend to keep it that way.

You're doing all the things you love, and you have no plans to stop. This isn't about fixing what's wrong. It's about finding out how good you could actually feel — and protecting it. We go under the hood: your markers, the gaps even the healthiest of us carry, the data that lets you optimize on purpose instead of guessing. Proactive, not reactive. Because this season is a recalibration, not a slow-down.

You keep getting told you're "fine."

You've done the bloodwork. You've heard "everything looks normal." And you've walked out still knowing something's off. Here's the truth: a number landing inside a broad "normal" range and you feeling like yourself are two completely different things. You're not imagining it. We go deeper than the standard panel to understand what your body's been trying to tell you — not to find what's wrong with you, but to finally get you real answers.

Optimizing or struggling — whichever one you are, you're done with reasons. You want answers. That's who this is for.

Standard labs see if something's wrong. Functional labs see why you feel wrong — and get to the root.

Standard labs

  • Built to catch disease

  • "Normal" — end of conversation

  • Broad reference ranges

  • One marker at a time, no pattern recognition

  • A 15-minute appointment, no room for your story

  • Manage it for a lifetime

Optimize Wellness

  • Built to optimize how you actually feel

  • "Normal but not right" — that's where we start

  • Optimal functional ranges tied to your symptoms

  • Systems-based analysis across the whole picture — gut, metabolic, hormonal

  • Time and space for your full symptom story

  • A personalized protocol built to heal at the root

Heard isn't the same as listened to.

Most care hears you. This listens. Your practitioner takes both halves — how you actually experience your body andwhat the labs reveal — and puts them together into one clear picture. That's the part standard care almost never delivers, and it's the whole point.

What your six months looks like

This is a guided, six-month journey — not a one-and-done test you interpret alone.

  1. You enroll. You'll get an email with everything you need to begin: links to your biometric health evaluation, your GI assessment, your blood-sugar log, and your metabolic testing.

  2. Your results come in. Real data, not guesswork.

  3. You sit down with your practitioner. Your first 1:1 consult — where what you're feeling and what the labs are saying get connected into one picture, and your personal protocol gets built.

  4. You run your protocol. Protocols typically run about 30 days.

  5. You reassess. We measure against current data, not stale numbers — and that's what guides the next round of testing.

  6. We go deeper, together. Over the full six months, your plan keeps adjusting to what your body's actually doing.

Included in your six months
  • A full-picture biometric health evaluation — where you actually are, not where a generic chart says you should be

  • A GI / gut assessment — where so much of energy, mood, and inflammation really begins

  • A blood-sugar log review — because steady energy and fat loss both live here

  • A metabolic lab — how your body is making and using energy

  • Two additional labs as your body directs — hormone, GI, or a metabolic retest, chosen for you

  • Three 1:1 consults with your functional practitioner — read your results, build and adjust your protocol

  • Three touchpoints in between — check in, see how you're doing, set up reassessments before your next test

Three tests. Three consults. Three touchpoints. Six months. All labs included.

The honest part -- because you've earned straight talk

Three tests are included — not "up to three." Three. If your body needs testing beyond those three, that's an add-on at additional cost, and we'll tell you exactly why before you spend a dollar. Supplements, if they're recommended, are separate and not included in the program price. No surprises. No fine print. Included means included, and extras are always clearly extras.

Investment: $1,844 — available as two payments of $922.

Just want one thing? Start there.

Not ready for the full six months? You can order a single test and consult, or just book time with your practitioner. Same depth, same listening, à la carte.

Christa Shepherd, CN, FDN-P

Lead Functional Practitioner

Christa studied Biology and Human Physiology at Texas Christian University, completing extensive coursework in human systems science, and holds advanced designations as a Clinical Nutritionist (CN) and Functional Diagnostic & Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P). After stepping away from her career to raise her two boys, she returned to her passion for functional wellness with renewed purpose.

She pairs science-based training with more than 15 years of clinical application. Early on, she worked alongside Dr. Gil Wilshire, a board-certified specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (ABOG) and Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). There she deepened her focus on insulin-driven PCOS — regulating ovulation, restoring hormone balance, and helping women improve their chances of conceiving, naturally or through assisted reproductive treatments.

She went on to expand her expertise at Parker Integrated Medical and Wellness Center, an integrative medicine practice, working directly with patients on weight loss, hormone balance, and metabolic health. These experiences shaped the functional protocols and frameworks she uses today.

Today, Christa is co-founder of LifeVisions, working side by side with her husband, Dr. Andrew Shepherd. Together they specialize in advanced lab interpretation and personalized precision protocols — reading the full picture of what your body is telling us, then building the plan to restore balance and optimize how you feel.

Dr. Andrew Shepherd, DC, CN

Functional Practitioner

Dr. Shepherd is a Doctor of Chiropractic and integrative medicine with over 20 years of in-practice clinical experience, and the architect of the hierarchical blueprint that guides how he understands the way the body heals.

His work began with a deep commitment to chiropractic care — using the body's own innate ability to heal as the cornerstone of his approach — and evolved into a functional, systems-based model that now integrates metabolic health, hormone balance, and gut restoration.

He earned his doctorate from Parker College of Chiropractic and furthered his studies at the Natural Institute of Naturopathy in Encinitas, California. Since graduating, he has pursued extensive post-graduate education, earning diplomas in Clinical Nutrition and Manipulation Under Anesthesia, along with advanced training in Electro-Diagnostics and Pediatrics. That ongoing study shaped a truly integrative, holistic approach to care.

Blending chiropractic as the foundation with functional medicine principles, Dr. Shepherd identifies and addresses the complex connections between nervous system function, cellular inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, and hormonal imbalance. His expertise lies in uncovering the root causes that keep the body stuck — and guiding clients back into full-spectrum alignment with their full capacity for health and performance.

Over two decades in practice, he has guided thousands of individuals to restore balance, increase energy, and achieve lasting transformation. He is also the author of four books on holistic health and longevity, has been published in Chiropractic Economics, and has shared his expertise on national television, including multiple appearances on the Veria Health and Wellness Network.
