I didn’t start this as a coach.
I started as a woman trying to survive.
In my 50s, I changed my body composition.
Lost 20 pounds.
Built muscle.
Stepped into the strongest version of myself.
Through menopause, I maintained my results — and I’m still going strong in my 60s.
This isn’t theory.
It’s lived experience.
And it’s exactly what I help my clients do now.

Plant-Based Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach
Macros & Fat Loss Specialist for Women 50+
Hi, I'm Nancy,
founder of Nourish Lift Grow.
I’m originally from Florida but now call the Houston, TX area home, where I live with my husband, Dr. Wes Urich, my son Alexander, and our little rescue dog, Bentley. I’m also blessed with two incredible bonus daughters. While Texas has become home, my heart will always be tied to Florida’s beaches and sunshine.
Before stepping into the world of wellness, I earned my degree from the University of South Florida and spent over 25 years building a successful career in property management and real estate.
On the surface, I looked like I had it all together.
Behind the scenes, my relationship with food — and with myself — was anything but healthy.

I went vegetarian in my early 20s — and later transitioned to a vegan lifestyle.
Not for health.
For the animals.
But at the very same time… I was caught in a completely different struggle. I was chasing skinny.
Despite my values around food, I spent years stuck in the exhausting cycle of dieting culture — trying the next trend, changing sizes, and wondering why nothing ever lasted.
From the outside, everything looked successful. My business was growing. My life looked full.
But inside my body? I was quietly struggling.
Then everything changed.
In 2008, the real estate market crashed — and so did my life as I knew it.
Shortly after, my husband James was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. He passed away in 2009.
In the middle of grief, bankruptcy, and uncertainty, I became a single mom raising my son on my own.
Four years later, after rebuilding and finding love again, my fiancé was diagnosed with end-stage pancreatic cancer and passed away shortly after.
Two losses.
Two men who looked healthy on the outside.
Two wake-up calls I could not ignore.
I realized I couldn’t wait until something went wrong.
I needed to take control of my health.
For my son.
And finally — for myself.
the turning point
I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and discovered a passion I didn’t know I had.
I went on to become:
Functional Nutrition Coach
Fat Loss & Macros Specialist
Plant-Based Culinary Nutrition Expert
Transformational Coach
Nourish Lift Grow was born out of love.
What started as a mission to survive became a path to thrive.
I began fueling my body with whole, plant-based foods. I discovered the power of strength training. I let go of the diet mentality.
Slowly, everything shifted. My body changed. My confidence followed.
The changes I built in my 50s didn’t disappear with menopause. They deepened.
That journey became the blueprint I now share with other women navigating this stage of life.

Yes, we celebrate your wins. Mocktails encouraged.
Today, I work with driven, plant-based women 50+
Women who are tired of:
• doing everything “right” and still feeling stuck
• watching their metabolism shift
• fighting bloating, fatigue, and stubborn fat
• starting over every January
Midlife doesn’t mean decline.
It means recalibration.
And when you fuel, train, and support your body correctly — everything changes.
I live a plant-based lifestyle for my health — and I’m proudly vegan for the animals.
That alignment of values fuels everything I do.
Strength.
Longevity.
Compassion.
Integrity.
This work is deeply personal to me because I've lived it.
I know how vulnerable this season can feel and that’s why I approach every client with the same care I once needed myself.

Thriving in my 60s
—and building for decades to come
Today, I’m not just maintaining my results — I’m living fully.
I bike, paddle board, strength train, travel, love deeply, and move with confidence. I’m building a life rooted in longevity and purpose, not fear of aging.
Midlife wasn’t the end of my vitality. It was the beginning of my recalibration.
And I’m just getting started.
Backed by real training
